In
many cases, leach fields suffer from exhausted soil absorption.
Because of the cost of excavating and installing new trenches and
drain lines, the problem is often let go as long as possible. We can
offer you a solution that is fast, effective and inexpensive. In one
day or less, we can add many years of life to your septic systems.
Terralift is
a patented system that represents a technological breakthrough in
soil restoration. It solves a number of underground problems -
including compaction, saturation and improper drainage - without
disturbing the turf.
HERE'S HOW IT
WORKS
Terralift uses a long, narrow probe to
penetrate and fracture the soil at depths of six (6) to sixty (60)
inches. It forces air into the soil at a controllable rate up to 300
psi. The
width of the area serviced can be varied by increasing or decreasing
air pressure.

Terralift
adds a new dimension to the process by using a second tank and a
parallel system that allows the injection of non-biodegradable
pellets into the channels opened by the compressed air. This method
is especially useful for reducing soil compaction.
The
Terralift is used to penetrate the soil all around the leach field's
perimeter (see diagram below) and inject air and polystyrene beads
to maintain passages for the exchange of liquids and gasses, or
other natural agents to accelerate the decomposition of organic
matter.
