Set Up on the Structure
The unit works from a manhole, basin or access point, with traffic control and site protection to whatever the location and the permit require.
A combination unit jets the line and vacuums the debris into the tank in the same pass. The line is cleaned and the material leaves site with us, rather than being pushed somewhere else in the system.
Send a scope and we will price it. Drawings welcome.
Jetting alone moves material along the pipe. On a private lateral that is usually fine. On a collection system it relocates the problem to the next structure downstream, which is where the next call comes from.
The Jet-Vac removes what it cuts loose. For sewer mains, treatment plants and wet wells, that is the difference between maintenance and moving debris around the network.

Water at pressure works the line while the vacuum lifts the material into the tank, so the debris is captured rather than carried downstream.
The load leaves with the truck and goes for disposal through the correct channels. Nothing is left on site for somebody else to deal with.
Where a length has a history, the work pairs with camera inspection so cleaning is directed at what actually needs it, and with smoke testing where the question is inflow rather than debris.
This is usually the second question on a municipal or commercial scope, and it is a fair one. What comes out of a sewer or a wet well is not spoil that can be tipped at the edge of the site.
We are a liquid waste contractor first. The same crews and the same disposal routes that handle septage and treatment plant work handle Jet-Vac loads, so recovery and disposal are one contract rather than two. If your specification calls for documentation of what was removed and where it went, say so with the scope and we will confirm what we can provide before the work is priced.
A Jet-Vac cleans and recovers. It does not repair, and on some scopes it is not the whole answer.
Municipal and commercial work usually has to fit around something: a traffic window, a plant shutdown, a tenant who has to stay open. Tell us the constraint when you send the scope and we will price the job that actually has to happen.
Unit capacity and reach depend on which truck the job takes. Ask when you send the scope and we will confirm what is coming.
We have run vacuum and jetting equipment in Ohio since 1960, out of Clyde, with our own fleet and our own crews. Collection system work, plant work and the disposal that follows are all in house.
