Wet Well & Lift Station Cleaning
Grease caps, rag balls and grit are what actually kill lift-station pumps. Cleaning the well is maintenance on the pumps as much as on the structure.
Send a scope and we will price it. Drawings welcome.
What Accumulates and What It Costs
Grease floats and hardens into a cap. Rags and wipes bind into masses that jam impellers. Grit settles and wears seals. None of it shows on a control panel until a pump is drawing more current than it should, or has stopped.
A pump rebuild or replacement is an order of magnitude more than a scheduled clean-out, and it never happens at a convenient time.
How We Work a Station
- Draw the well down and vacuum out grease, rag and grit
- Wash down walls, benching and floats so switches read true
- Clean the influent line into the well where it has built up
- Haul the material away and dispose of it properly
- Tell you what we saw, so it feeds your maintenance plan
Scheduling
Stations usually have to stay in service. Send us the constraint along with the scope and we will price the work as it actually has to be done, out of hours if that is what it takes.
